Latent Ltd, have opened a new office in Malaysia as part of a £50,000 investment aimed at extending the Aberdeen-based company’s global presence.
The move will create five new positions, four local staff and one senior project manager. They have started the process to recruit a new senior manager; at present Latent are covering the position via their Aberdeen office.
Dave Watson Managing Director of Latent says, “The necessity of a permanent presence in the Far East was highlighted by the increased level of work we carried out in partnership with SMEP in the region in 2007.
The office in Malaysia is an important part of Latent's strategic development as we continue to win work with international companies around the world. Safety is a global concern and as the business continues to grow Latent are keen to firmly establish themselves worldwide.”
