Latent Ltd and Maxoil have entered into a Memorandum Of Understanding for the provision of services to the Oil Gas industry, specifically End of Field Life Extension and Due Diligence for assets being purchased.
This relationship has now been in place since 2007. The business model harnesses Maxoil’s Process and Operational expertise, with Latent’s Maintenance, Reliability, and Integrity experience and software.
Peter Adam of Latent. quoted “Latent and Maxoil felt there was a gap in the market to provide consultancy services for the assessment of vulnerabilities and ratification of changes required to extend the field life of assets in the UKCS. We have subsequently had enquiries from the far east to deliver these services.“
The Partnership's delivery will be entirely impartial, as a third party to all existing contracts covering operations and maintenance. With combined experience of delivering similar studies globally for both brown field redevelopment and for new builds with Shell (UK), Shell (Netherlands), SMEP (Malaysia), PDO (Oman), Statoil (Norway), BP (Norway), SNEPCO (Nigeria) and Stena Drilling (UK and Korea). Latent has considerable experience in developing and delivering review process and software tools both in house and for Operators.
This further expands Latent’s complimentary partnering with local and international businesses to provide clients a comprehensive suite of engineering and business solutions.
