An Engineer with over 25 years experience in the Petrochemical industry, Dave started Latent Ltd in 2004 after experience with another consultancy firm. A well-known face both onshore and offshore, he has wide ranging experience of maintenance/production and project management. Having held positions from Engineer to Maintenance Manager in his career, Dave is a natural leader and motivator with an uncanny ability to drive projects forward. His knowledge of current maintenance philosophies, risk-based re-certification, legislative requirements and application of condition monitoring strategies along with his practical hands on approach provides solid grounding for the Latent Products and Service Portfolio. With a sound commercial and financial awareness Dave strives to deliver every project within the given time and budgetary constraints without any compromise in technical integrity or quality.

Bill Leslie
Project Manager
A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer qualified as a Chief Engineer in the Merchant Navy. With 12 years North Sea offshore experience, in Production and Maintenance functions, 9 years abroad, as Head of field Mechanical Maintenance in Syria & Engineering Superintendent in the Yemen.
Bill has experience in reviewing Maintenance Strategies & Procedures in CMMS, to ensure that the content is of sufficient standard to comply with local legislation. Development of Safety Critical Element and acceptance criteria which supports the Performance Standards to ensure the integrity of an asset is maintained. He brings to Latent a strong practical background, understanding of production processes with a regard to maintenance intervention.

Ian Graham
Senior Engineer
Ian has over 25 years experience as an engineer with a vast knowledge in the field of Operation Readiness and Assurance, ensuring the right maintenance is developed from the start with appropriate sparing to compliment, based on the over all maintenance and operations philosophy.
Ian brings to Latent his experience in the practical side of Maintenance Management. Building a quality RCM database, developing Maintenance Procedures & Programs that give high availability with minimum downtime, procuring the correct spares for that Maintenance Policy.

Peter Adam
BSc. HND. Operations Manager
A founder member of Latent Ltd, Peter currently holds the position of Operations Manager. Carrying over five years experience in the oil and gas industry, he has worked on wide range of projects all over the world. With an extensive background in Project Management, Health and Safety, Reliability and Availability engineering, Quality Assurance and Environmental Science, Pete brings comprehensive business and management skills to the Latent team.

Emeka Onuh
MSc. B.Eng Analyst/Programmer
Emeka Onuh took up the position of Analyst/Programmer with Latent Ltd following an MSc. in Oil and Gas Engineering from the Robert Gordon University having previously obtained a B.Eng degree in Computer Science and Engineering. He worked for 5 years in the IT industry where he acquired valuable skills in IT systems including Database management and computer programming, and an understanding of oil and gas operations in West Africa. With the view of progressing his career within the Oil and Gas industry, he undertook an MSc. program where he obtained a good theoretical understanding of asset integrity management and performance standards.
Emeka hopes “To provide Asset management support services and progess the development of Latent’s Benchmarking and tracking tools”.

Fraser Calder
Team Leader
Frasers engineering career started in 1986 as an apprentice aircraft technician working on helicopters and small fixed-wing aircraft. From the outset the majority of his work focused on preventive maintenance and condition monitoring: particularly vibration-analysis.
In 1997 he changed direction and moved into engineering management for operations and over the next 10 years accumulated a wealth of senior management experience in aeronautical engineering departments with both British and American military organisations.
Since leaving the aviation environment to seek new challenges, Fraser has been involved in departmental development for a local university and asset management work for DIAGEO, the North's largest distillery organisation, before joining the Latent Ltd team in July 2007.

James Watson
Graphic Designer/PR & Advertising
James is a highly skilled graphic designer with an HNC in ‘Computer Graphic Design and Production’ coupled with over six years experience specifically in the Oil and Gas industry. His use of contemporary and unique ideas provides the final touches to the Latent's product portfolio. He is the designer and editor of the Latent's website and quarterly newsletter. With attention to detail and his extensive software skills, James provides valuable backup to the Latent analyst team.

Derek Maguire
BSc. Project Manager
Derek is a seasoned campaigner in the oil and gas industry, with over 20 year’s experience. He has held various Maintenance / Operational positions and is a qualified RCM/RCA Facilitator. Over the last 9 years he has gained a vast knowledge of delivering safe and compliant Maintenance Management Systems in support of the companies Maintenance Management Philosophy and Strategy. Integrity and Verification Management is also high on his list of deliverables to satisfied clients. Derek’s experience adds an in-depth practical strength, to an already highly technical team.

Malcolm Jenkin
Project Manager
The early part of Malcolm's career was spent in U.K.’s nuclear power utility. Around 17 years was divided between the production, maintenance and training functions at nuclear power stations. At the end of Malcolm's nuclear experience he worked in France (E de F) and South Africa (ES KOM Electricity Supply Commission).
Malcolm joined the offshore oil industry 17 years ago and focused on maintenance management and has been responsible for CMMS implementation, personnel management and spare parts provision. He lived in varied locations from the Middle East to the Far East and worked for companies such as Occidental, Aramco, Mobil and finally AMEC in Scotland. He has now joined Shell Global Solutions in the Hague where the emphasis is on spares provision to extend the life of assets in the Southern North Sea.
